Foxes are generally considered cunning animals.

Think of the fox from Zootopia.  Somewhere, under all that bravo, he had a good heart, but he usually acted on impulses of greed.  Other animals where easy and unwitting prey.  I suppose another soft-balled adaptation would be Disney’s Robin Hood.  That fox was hunted, cunning, and fairly prideful.

They’re able to trick, plan, and strategize against stronger opponents to have their way.
Usually, in stories, the fox gets away and isn’t punished.  He’s one of those characters that you hope will learn a life lesson but never do.  After some time, they may see reason to change their ways, but they are always true to themselves.

  Since Disney bought Fox, everyone else is going to be punished while the owners of Fox are proud new owner of titanium lined golden parachutes and personal islands that have their own zip code.

  I guess it’s kind of overwhelming.   I can barely comprehend that Princess Leigh has joined the ranks of Cinderella.  Now, Homer, Deadpool, and the Chipmunks have joined ranks.   What’s left that isn’t Disney or tries to intimidate Disney?

  Yeah sure, some people are celebrating the takeover.   The Fantastic Four and X-Men have finally reunited with the rest of the Marvel cast that was captured a couple of years ago by the incorporated mouse.  I’ll agree.  Disney has made some good Marvel movies, but without competition, they’re going to get to be fat and lazy.

  Disney will take on the arrogance Sony once displayed.
  –  It’s a PlayStation!  People will buy it.
  (I think this happened when PS 2 was released.)
  Part of the backlash from that statement projected the sell of the Xbox.

  How long will it be until Disney does the same thing?   They already have a head start since they’ve had the biggest box office and merchandising draws for years.   Still, I like to think that they kept on their toes a little bit because the competition could occasionally stumble on a movie like Logan and Deadpool.  Well, that’s not a threat any more. Who’s left?

  New Line?   Sure.
  I could see that being the next little fish to gobble.   While New Line isn’t impressive with Dumb and Dumber, they did produce IT and Lord of the Rings.   — Everybody — knows Disney hates Harry Potter.   If they can retake J.R.R. Tolken’s novels, they might finally have that potter swatter they’ve so dreamed of.

  Sony?
  — Sha right.   They only thing they have is Spiderman and part of Crunchroll.  Even then, rented Spiderman to Disney for Homecoming.   How long do you think J.J. joins Captain Hook and Jafar in the break room for morning coffee?

  Who else?  Warner Brothers?
  This will be the last stand.   Hopefully, the government will understand that if Disney eats Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, there would truly be a monopoly.  Not only would Disney be in control of Marvel, but also DC.   Not to mention Harry Potter, Mad Max, and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.  Goofy would walk Scooby Do.  Sam and Dean would be hunting for a new job.  Wonder Woman would become a Disney princess.    – I shutter at the thought.

  What’s done is done, but dern.
  Outlook is not good.
  The fox won’t be punished, but maybe we will.
