Don't live the American dream. Live your dream.

Sister Sibling

I whine, fuss, and speculate.
That’s all good and fun.  It’s what some people literally live for, rather they want to admit it or not.

But… but.. but. but..  that’s not all there is to life, dash it all.
There are some good perks.    Sometimes, happiness becomes lost in the #whateveritis, politics, and general everyday fears.

So, I’d like to take a moment to appreciate my sister.
She’s faithful, loyal, and has a high pitched voice when she becomes excited.
She has a good heart, always (most of the time) tries to do her best, and has a really bad habit of putting people before her.

The girl is a hard worker, tends to drive like she’s on the German Autobahn, and comes across people one of two ways.

People really like her or people really don’t like her.

Either way, people respect her, which I think is more important.

She’s a Sagittarius and I’ve always kind of thought of her as a horse.
—  Not in a bad way, but in terms of an actual horse.

My sister has so much potential and so much to give.  Just, sometimes, she doesn’t know where she’s heading.   That’s where the horse part comes in.  =)

Sometimes, just sometimes, she spreads herself so thin by running this way and that, particularly mentally, that she tires herself out.   Burn out.   After a couple of days of recouping, she’s up and great again, but I can’t help but think that a bit more wisdom would help guide her way.  Perhaps, a lighthouse could be a final destination.

If she could slow down enough to enjoy the ride instead of being ridden, she’d be happier.

Either way, when I left for Florida, she really stepped up helping the family.  That took a lot of courage and roll dynamics, which she without much fuss.  Like me, she does what she has too.  Unlike me, she knows that she needs to take a break sometimes.

I’m really lucky to have her as my sister.
