Today didn’t go as I had planned, but it was a good thing this time.
The original plan was to see The Invisible Man at an 11 or noon showing.
I was going to treat myself to Polo Tropical. I’ve been wanting to try that for a while and I was going to work on the new Wizards event.
Well, the movie didn’t start until two. I probably wouldn’t get out until four or five.
Then, I’d walk around the maul for two or three hours before making the half-an-hour trek home. That means I’d get home around eight or nine, which is fine.
I’m a big girl. I can handle that. Any assignments that came in could be shoveled until tomorrow.
But, apparently, I can’t do that.
I have mental blocks that stop me.
Well, rather, I could have done what I wanted… but I wouldn’t have enjoyed it. Rather, I would have made myself feel miserable instead of liberated.
Then, somehow, I would have mentally punished myself for the next couple of days. I really didn’t want to do that.
But…. all was not lost. I went to the gym which actually felt wonderful. It’d been a couple of weeks since I went. Moving and pushing myself was great. I think I got an exercise high off it.
Declaring today to be no money spending day, I watched the third season of Castlevania on Netflix and part of the first episode about Hillary Clinton on Hulu.
Castlevania – pretty good.
I think I liked the first couple of seasons better, but this wasn’t a bad third season. Since Dracula is (sort of) out of the picture, the story had to take a different turn. Still good… but I missed the camaraderie of Alucard, Trevor, and Sypha.
I’m definitely looking forward to the fourth season.
The Hillary show is a question mark for me.
Although I’ve never met the woman, I’m not a fan. But, I’m not above listening to the opposition. I’m Lachesis and will draw out stories, even if it’s from sides I’m fundamentally against.
I’ll probably finish the episode I was watching and then make a decision on if I should continue.
Despite the coronavirus, the gym was pretty busy. There were actually elderly there as well as those who didn’t look too healthy.
I took particular care to make sure I wiped down all the machines I used, especially after one of the older patrons gave me the evil eye when coughed a bit because water went down the wrong pipe.
Then, I took a long way home and did the first two steps of the Wizards event.
I guess I’m pretty satisfied with how everything worked out. Seriously need to shower.
In the back of my head, I’m surrounded by what-ifs, whens, wheres, and whys.
I head back to Indiana on the 31st. That’s a solid 21 days from now.
Soon, there won’t be anyone to keep Sneezles company while Jason is away. There won’t be anyone to fight with the covers at night.
Life certainly continues here and there.
I like them both.
I’m getting spoiled…. and kinda depressed.
I need to stop this line of thinking and take a shower.
Then, hot dogs. That sounds good.
Jason should be in sometime around there.
And that’ll be my day.
