Dear Wizards United devs, Warner Bros, and Niantic,
I’m concerned and a bit confused about how the game is unfolding.
A couple of weeks ago, a massive change to the sticker system was horribly implemented.
I think I understand why the change happened. The game is about a year old and some content is going to be released soon. It would be difficult for players to get 75 of one sticker when potentially double the content is coming soon.
I also have a sneaky suspicion that the prestiged pages are linked to the second lesson plan. I could be wrong, of course. Who am I to speculate what happens in Warner Bros, but the push for people to make silver and even gold frames is highly suspicious.
I can’t imagine why there would be a need to fully upset a player base that’s already well-below than originally projected. Everyone knows that Pokemon Go is still Niantic’s money maker.
Did someone fall off the hamster wheel and hit the player ‘rage quit’ button?
It’s been weeks and I don’t think compensation has been provided or even hardly mentioned. Are the fingers crossed that the players will just forget what happened?
Yes, it was a ” real ” pain to get multiples of the rare stickers. Swooping Evil? Forget about it. There were better odds with the lottery.
But, the thing is, that finding and capturing those sticker bits helped provide a feeling of accomplishment. That once a month chance to see Quidditch Hermine is only equal to the feeling of loss as we saw her vanish.
Anyway, back on track.
Pumping runestones in the gaming economy really place an emphasis on challenges which wasn’t present before. The Knightbus, thought to be made available because of Covid, is probably never going to go away.
So, I’m curious as to where the game is going, but cautious about being linked to fortress challenges for the rest of eternity.
