Don't live the American dream. Live your dream.

6/20

There’s going to be a rally in Tulsa Oklahoma in about from now.

I think this is really going to be a make or break thing on the Covid front.

There’s supposed to be something like 19,000 people for an inside rally.   There’s another one that’s supposed to happen outside.

So, in two weeks, America is going to have a spike of somewhere around 19,000 cases or everything is going to be fine.

You know what, I support the whole not wearing mask thing.
Masks from paper or cloth are not very protective against viruses.  If they are, our medical professionals would have used them way before now — especially during flu season.

The masks also have to adequately cover the nose and mouth, which is pretty impossible on some people just given their shape.  This brings even more attention to those who are obese or don’t fit into body stereotypes.  One size doesn’t fit all and never has.    Not truly.

And, much to liberals dismay, these people are adults.    Who in America doesn’t have some idea how a virus or any virus spreads, especially now?   They know the risks and are taking them.

That is their right.

Period.

It’s noble to try to help people, but only if they want to be helped.

If someone is addicted to a substance, they will resist attempts to become better.    The person has to want to become better because they are an adult.

They have some responsibility of their well-being.    A smoker knows that he has a high chance to get lung cancer and he smokes anyway.  He also knows second-hand smoke can harm others.

It’s up to other people not to be around the smoker.

The people attending the Trump rally know the risks but choose to attend anyway.

That’s okay.   That is their right.

If someone is afraid they’ll become infected with Covid, then that person can stay away for two weeks to avoid breathing in the second-hand virus.

This isn’t rocket science, you know.

So, in two weeks, we’ll see what happens.
If it’s good, it won’t be reported.   If it’s bad, it’ll be on every station.

But — it’s the individual who chooses.
That is part of what it means to be living in the land of the free.
