Okay, so I went to the doctor today — my primary care physician, Dr P.
I talked to a nurse for about five minutes while she took my vitals. Dr. P made an appearance and I talked to her for about five minutes and then in comes the nurse to tap me for four vials of blood.
Apparently, I’m due for a lot of tests but handled the invasive nurse and needle well… despite her moving it around. I didn’t jerk but my arm has hurt all evening. Sucks.
I didn’t get to pick a color for my coban. Really. Where’s the fun in that.
Okay. So, this is how I think the rest of November is going to go.
The week of the 12th –
– Chilling with Elmer. Monday
– Cancer doctor. Tuesday
– Bone density test Friday
—- and the little sister is soo spoiling me while making me really apprehensive all at the same time. She’s a turkey baby and never really gets to celebrate her birthday between work and the holiday. So, this year, she has a room at the Greenwood Hilton for this coming weekend.
— We are supposed to swim in the hotel pool, watch the new Fantastic Beast movie in 3D/Imax, drink (alcohol) a little, and eat a lot. I’m on board with all of that outside of the eat a lot. Namely, she wants to go to Olive Garden and the Cheesecake Factory. The Olive Garden makes me nervous. The Cheesecake Factory is unknown. But, from reputation, it’s indulgent… which goes against my whole trying to lose weight but not be an anorexic campaign.
Week of the 19th
– Thanksgiving.
That’s really about all there is. I’m hoping to do better — again, eating wise — this year than I did last year. The last two months of the year are always a struggle for those who have eating disorders.
I’m sure baby siblings have some days off in here, but I have no idea what.
Week of the 26th.
Mammogram. Friday, I think.
And then…no idea. Oh! Doc S on Thursday.
Other than that, it’s anyone’s guess.
And that’s how November, the new December, is going to play out.
