Lipstick on a Pig

I’m sure that AOC has a reason for preferring that particular red shade of lipstick.  Occasionally, I think there’s some type of berry shade, but 99% of the time it’s are bright and potent red.

It’s one of her more notable features.   It gains attention to her, particularly her mouth.  By association, I think it boosts the words that come out of her mouth.  More people are bound to notice.   If not notice, the words are more then likely to be repeated.

Personally, I find it difficult to wear red lipstick.  I’ve never felt the need to draw constant attention to myself.  Red is a wonderful color, but not on me.  I also tend to prefer to allow my actions to speak louder than my words.

In opposition, AOC is quite proud of her words.   She has an opinion about everything, rather right or wrong, and isn’t afraid to express herself.    Good on her.  The ability to express oneself can be very difficult to do.  I think expression is something that everyone struggles with every day.   But, she’s in a position where her words have more meaning and influence than most.

When she says something, it’s generally considered credible and authoritative.   Despite the fact that AOC isn’t credible or authoritative on anything.   She is part of an organization to get things done.   To make sure that the interests of her constituents and, by extension, Americans, are expressed.

She isn’t a mouthpiece despite the red lipstick.
She’s a tool.  She’s a tool with a Twitter following.

So, when AOC stated that people are drinking toilet water at detention facilities, people believed her despite the lack of proof.

When she said that parol agents felt threatened by her presence, she was probably right.  I don’t know about you, but I’d feel threatened when some higher-up visits my workplace.    I hated it when a manager would walk in on my shift or, even worse, the regional manager.    The agents probably felt the same thing.   They were apprehensive that no matter how hard they tried or no matter what they did, it wouldn’t be good enough.

She claims the agents were armed.
Yeah, probably.    It’s their job.
They probably carry their weapons on them all the time.   It’s probably a requirement.

I read somewhere that AOC was upset that they felt threatened although she’s only 5’4.  Hell, if I was 5’4 and had an armed escort, I’d feel pretty privileged.   The guards would be afraid of me or afraid of what someone may try to do to me.   If they were afraid of me, I must be someone to be afraid of.

Striking that type of terror into others is kind of a thrill.

You got to remember, even Darth Vader had armed guards and he didn’t need protection from no one.

AOC said the detention centers are overcrowded.
That isn’t a surprise given how many are trying to illegally come in and are apprehended  — and that’s just a small fraction of what’s going on.

AOC said that she was told stories by the detainees about how horrible their life is.  Was it scripted?  Were they actually detainees?   They could have been actors of some sort.  We weren’t there.   How are we to know and take this mouthpiece seriously?

These are the kind of things that I feel AOC should have checked into and taken into consideration before spreading red painted words.

What is just absolutely stellar about this woman is that she’s more than willing to believe the worst in everyone.  Anyone who has an opinion against her is just some kind shit bag.   But, because she holds a historically trusted position — people trust her to represent them — then what she says must be true.

It’s like putting the cart before the horse.
People in the cart control the horse’s movement.  The horse can not push the cart.    It doesn’t know where to go or how to go.

AOC doesn’t know.   So, she gains attention in any way she can.   She pushes, but can’t do it effectively.   There’s no weight.   There’s no thought.   No critical thinking.    It’s just pushing.

She’s not thinking about helping people get somewhere but rather attempting to take them where she wants to go — which is nowhere.

That just causes confusion and more red lipstick.

The term ‘lipstick on a pig’ means trying to beautify something that’s not beautiful.  Or, rather, a cosmetic attempt to become more attractive.

To me, that says she’s insecure.   She’s afraid.   She has to put on a front to gain attention because, without attention, she’s nothing.  AOC feels the need to wear red lipstick because her words wouldn’t be noticed otherwise.

——-  But, in truth….   AOC voted against legislation that would provide funding to the detention centers.      She voted against it twice.

This was less than a month ago.

Her actions are actions of a pig.
Hence, the red lipstick.
