I am sooooo going for a walk tomorrow.
Today has been horribly blah.
Yeah, it’s been raining a bit, but it stopped. I could have taken a walk this evening but didn’t for some reason. I guess it’s okay to have a blah day every now and then.
I didn’t clean out any closets or vacuum or anything.
I think I took nap and became frustrated with Justine – as I mentioned in the first post. She hasn’t written back yet, by the way. Good. She can leave me alone. I’m fine as long as the paycheck is deposited.
… The covid virus isn’t covid any more. In my head, it’s now called koo-dies. I couldn’t write it as one word because the spell correct kept changing it to cookies and bodies.
Anyways.. to get rid of this particular virus, we can just not talk about it and go on. It won’t be the first time we’ve buried negative issues and just kept going. We’ve done that before. Will do it again.
Or, we could circle – circle – dot -dot.
That may hurt for a minute, but it’s a cure that’s free and can be passed along to anyone as many times as needed.
Sounds good to me.
I am starting to feel a little hopeful since Texas and a couple of other states are struggling to reopen. They’re receiving a lot of criticism, but someone has to lead the way.
People are going to die regardless.
Isn’t it “the needs of the many outweigh the needs of the one or the few?”
Protect the vulnerable. Absolutely.
But I can’t help wonder why they’re not already protected that well.
Koo-dies is akin to the flu.
The flu kills thousands a year. If society was really that vested in protecting the weak, all of these koo-die protections would have already been in place and then some. If there was an active interest in continually protecting the old, infirmed, and compromised, this would never have happened.
A lot of diseases wouldn’t be around if everyone in just one nation was completely and totally focused on disease prevention and irradiation. I mean a million or so people who had no other purpose but to defend others from these types of threats.
They want to save people from a virus but only when it’s convenient for them. When there’s something to gain.
There isn’t a flu vaccine. It mutates a little and companies make big money from selling coughdrops. There’s a flu shot to help prevent it.
Maybe it’s called a vaccination to be a selling point on persuading people to take it. To feel good about taking it.
Lord knows what else is mixed in with that shot.
Anyway.
I digress. Again.
If people were serious about protecting all of these people, it would be done. Period.
That’s it.
But, it’s not like that.
There’s only a reason to feign concern when there is something to gain.
In this case, it’s political gain from one particular party.
It’s just sick.
More sickening than the flu and koo-dies.
What goes around comes around and I hope all of their ice cream melts.
