Happy Easter.
I’m kind of proud of my previous post. I placed a lot of thought into it and there are some areas that I could expand upon. I was just trying to think in a certain way. I feel like I accomplished that.
So, let’s think in another way.
Easter celebrates, discounting pagan connections, the resurrection of Jesus after was crucified.
It’s a holy day. The Son of God died to wash us of our sins. It’s a sacrifice that was performed and accepted.
— Forgive me. I don’t know the story in detail.
It’s tend to be celebrated with family picnics, activities, and church.
The life and death of Jesus is reinforced as, increasingly so, events are forgotten or taken for granted.
So, how did I spend the day?
I spent one of the most holy days of the year staring at my Samsung phone attacking dragons on Wizards United. But, I was surrounded by nature. Well, as much nature as a city park can afford.
Okay.
Like in the previous post, I’m going to breakdown my actions.
I’m a woman of european descent. Given hair, eye, and skin color, there’s no doubt.
My parents were involved with Christian, Catholic, and Baptist religions. I think they all celebrate Easter.
While I was not raised in a strict religious environment, I was taught to be respectful of it. Besides, the Bible is full of stories. If there’s anything about my life, I love stories. The Bible is kind of fascinting, although I haven’t read it completely.
It was dragon weekend on Wizards.
Dragons, I think, are (mostly) magnificent beings despite being linked to Satan, as is most reptiles.
Personally, I think that’s unfair. One possible association does not ruin an entire species… although that seems to be a running theme in current day.
White people, especially men, equal bad. It doesn’t matter what, when, or if. White men are bad. Just like reptiles.
It’s not fair.
Anyways, I’m trying to gather pieces of dragons, potential satanic symbols, on a game that is reputedly built on witchcraft notions.
Wizards Unite is based off Harry Potter. So, there are potions, wands, and incantations. There are witches, wizards, and three-headed dogs. People are sacrified, murdered, and mutilated.
Harry Potter is, of course, under the direction of Rowling. Rowling inspired a word – terf.
I know what it means in context but had to Google the exact meaning.
Terf means Trans-Exclusionary Radical Feminists.
Okay — Wiki says the term was coined in 2008, but Rowling really pushed it to the forefront.
Piecing it togehter… I was playing a game based on a non-American made phone. It’s based on a universe created by a woman who has a female centered opinion who is against gender idiologies (supposedly). I was collecting pieces of dragons, that some can seem to represent Satan, on a game that can be considered anti-religion since it’s based on witchcraft.
What a way to spend a holy day, huh?
So, does that mean I’m going to go to heck when I die? That I’m disrespectul? But, I did use that alone time for retrospection. But, I tend to always use my alone time for thoughts, theories, and commentary.
I think I like this – breaking down a situation based on the concepts of current societial outlooks.
At the time, I didn’t really think nothing of it. It’s just a walk in the park surrounded with people riding bikes and families having picnics.
For them, the day probably wasn’t that special either. But, as far as I know, I was the only person playing Wizards Unite. Although there were people playing Pokemon Go. In a right-thinking society in the Bible Belt – where Indiana is – could Pokemon Go be considered equally damning?
Or… how does that compare to Biden, self-accused of being religious… Catholic, I think… doesn’t mention Jesus in his Easter Day speech? I think he mentions Covid multiple times, but not Jesus.
What about Google?
For holidays and events, they create a little toon around their name to honor the day. Did Google show any crosses, bunnies, tulips, or eggs? — Nope.
I think the message they’re sending is fare more potent than a single woman staring at her phone while wondering around in a park.
They’re multi-national entities and represent America.
What are they trying to say, exactly?
Biden probably just forgot, but Google?
Will churches become more business like and businesses become less interested in public holidays?
