Is this Covid crap over now?
Who wants to get vaccinated have gotten vaccinated. Who doesn’t want to hasn’t.
The people who haven’t can change their minds. Those who have stuck don’t have any recourse.
It’s kind of like someone losing her virginity.
Once it’s gone, it’s gone. The body may repair itself but the mind will always know it took the prick. Except, in this case, it’s uncertain what the long-term effects of the vaccine are.
The body may not repair itself.
Whether the vaccine works or not isn’t of any consequence, to be truthful. Thousands of people receive the flu ‘vaccine’ each year. It tends to have a super low effectiveness rate as there are multiple mutations of the flu and people are different. The same vaccine that works or might work for one might fully work for someone else. Or, it may not work at all.
But, there is always a chance that the person who receives the flu vaccine will feel under the weather for the next couple of days or may just become completely ill. That’s an acceptable and sometimes expected outcome.
The future is, however, unknown. That person may get the flu anyway or may not. If she does, she just double-downed on missing work and physical distress. If the person doesn’t get the flu, she only suffers once from the vaccine. If she doesn’t, she doesn’t but still risked making herself ill by taking it. She also had a foreign substance injected directly into her bloodstream without fully being sure if it is beneficial.
The odds of getting the flu, flu-like symptoms, or lowering the immune system to catch other illnesses increase by getting the vaccine.
If the person – does not – get the vaccine, she still runs the same chance of infection. But, the chance of feeling ill from the vaccine is non-existent. She didn’t get it. Should she become ill, her body develops antibodies that are associated with natural immunity. This could, on whole, increase her entire immune system and makes her more resistant to other types of seasonal illnesses.
Now, I have no idea if vaccinated people develop natural immunities. I’m not sure. If I had to guess, I would say it would but wouldn’t be as effective as someone who was unvaccinated.
Anyway, there are two lines of thinking here and they’re valid. I’m not going to say they’re not. If I did, I would invalidate everyone in my family. They voluntarily received the Covid vaccination for various reasons. They’re intelligent people and their lines of thought hold worth.
I guess what I’m saying is that there’s all that can be done about Covid. It’s a disease much like the flu or strep throat. There’s a vaccine. Actually, there are several vaccines. That’s about all that we can do, realistically, with the current technology.
The continuation of media, political, and societal obsession is simply ludicrous. It’s harming society, creating unnecessary divisions, and wasting effort. It’s trying to place a command structure in place where one hasn’t existed before.
— America, given her history, will fight against command structures like this. But, once one is in place, it’s nearly impossible to remove. – much like social security. No matter how broken, it will always remain even though there was a time when it didn’t exist.
I keep thinking that ‘this too shall pass.’
Yeah, but when? It should have passed last year or, at least, early this year.
The current government administration and “news” (I use that term loosely) companies continue to cause distress, uncertainty and distract from other issues – like the legalized theft and looting in California.
Maybe, just maybe, all this effort going into the Covid virus could be redirected into finding an actual cure for the flu or cancer or any other massively important and pressing disease.
Yes, Covid is the new and shiny on the block. But, that doesn’t mean that the other illnesses are suddenly less important. Covid also doesn’t have the backing and prior research as the others.
– The new command structure’s seams are showing.
It’s disgusting and entirely irrelevant to helping. It just enforces the idea that misery loves company. The people of power in the Biden administration have some fatal flaws – although they would never seriously admit it — and want to pull everyone down to help themselves feel better.
Bullying at its finest.
Bastards.
They lack the ability to respect people’s decisions.
