A narcissist is someone who is self-serving. They have an overwhelming interest in their appearance and place the needs of their own above all others.

They may often come across as heroes, noble, and courageous. But, in actuality, they are simply pretending to have those qualities. It adds to their overall social appearance and provides a way to feel superior over those they consider lesser.

Rarely do they actually apologize or hold themselves accountable for their actions.

The left, in general, fits this definition.

For example, the left’s rallying call was to ‘defund the police.’
It was an opportunity to appear heroic and vilify a group of underpaid people who, by definition, risk physical and emotional abuse by their career choice of law enforcement.

Lori Lightfoot, Ilham Omar, and the dear AOC, rallied to undercut the police force across the nation by millions of dollars. They advertised and tweeted that the police attacked African Americans. By defunding the police, the populous would be safer and treated fairly. By making these claims, they drew attention to themselves through news and social media outlets.

But, when the funds were restricted, violence increased. African Americans, the very people they claimed that action would protect, suffered the most. Without police, violence in the African American community skyrocketed. And, regardless of race or religion, murder, car theft, and other violent crimes rose. Criminals, emboldened by the words of the narcissists, took action. People died. Businesses suffered.

Eventually, after several months, some funding was restored to the various police departments – providing there were any police left. Shamed by communities and demoralized, the police simply went to other states or found other jobs. The police force is not as strong as what it was and those who remained are probably aren’t as passionate about their job as they were before.

Did Lightfoot, Omar, AOC, and others apologize for their actions which lead to the degradation of society? No.

Did they take responsibility for their actions?
No.

Did they deny that defunding the police caused the violence to rise?
Yes.

A good example of this is Lightfoot’s broad press statement and speech claiming that the crime in Chicago was trending downward. When, in actuality, her own staff had reported that sexual assault, car theft, and murder were at a ten year peak. When called out on her obvious omission of facts and knowledge of her own district, she claimed to be uninformed and that the numbers were mostly liked incorrect.

Which was a completely untrue statement. Various forms of violence were and still probably are still on the rise.

But, Lightfoot has moved on to other topics, like Roe V. Wade, instead of sincerely apologizing and correcting her errors that caused so much damage to Chicago, the reputation of Chicago, and the destroyed lives.

Ultimately, the self-serving leftists are narcissists.
They use issues to promote themselves and their image. Unapologetic, they continue to promote themselves while not resolving the issues — never resolving them as they wouldn’t have anything to use to promote themselves.

President Brandon is an excellent example of a narcissist.
He makes changes, takes credit, and dodges any type of negative consequences.

For example, he recently canceled leases that would have allowed drilling. This would help ‘save the earth’ and encourage people to go into debt to buy electric cars. This serves his self-interest to promote his image.

What he doesn’t realize is that it does promote him, but not positively. America has several spears in her back right now and the lack of energy is a significant one. The negation of energy creation through those leases only pushes in a spear that more. Brandon is not taking accountability for his continual neglect of Americans’ needs. While seeking self-promotion and justification, he is destroying lives and ruining futures.

Another example is Circle Back’s encouragement of protestors at the homes of the Supreme Justices’ homes because of the leaked Roe document.

Per federal law — Section 1507 of Title 18 of the U.S. Code — 
it is unlawful to protest near a “residence occupied or used by [a] judge, juror, witness, or court officer” with the intent of influencing “the discharge of his duty,” adding that anyone who “uses any sound-truck or similar device or resorts to any other demonstration in or near any such building or residence, shall be fined under this title or imprisoned not more than one year, or both.”

— When Brandon became president, he had to swear an oath on a Bible that he would uphold, preserve, and protect the Constitution. Brandon is flaunting the rules and breaking federal law by encouraging protestors and refusing to negate the protesters. Brandon is promoting his own self-image and placing his own promotion and image above reality.

Unfortunately, I don’t see this changing. America and, by extension, the world is a plaything for the current self-serving and reality negating narcissists in the White House.

Hopefully, the midterms will help put a band-aid on this and some actual adults will gain some control But, I’m not hopeful. Narcissism doesn’t have political boundaries. By the time the next presidential election happens, it may be too late. There might not be an America to save.
