Don't live the American dream. Live your dream.

Three Strikes.

Regardless of when and where, society divides itself into three categories.
It tends to take the shape of a pyramid.

At the bottom is the rabble.
These are the generally unskilled laborers. They are the plebeians. They are the unwashed masses. Often underestimated and always dominated by the other two levels, these people perform repetitive tasks that no one else would want to do although some of the tasks are essential.

I consider these to be the laborers. I’m thinking of the plumbers, electricians, and farmers. They are those who work in the slaughterhouses and pick the grapes for wine. They are Uber drivers, garbage men, and factory workers.

These people are the movers of society, but they do not mold society.
The base needs of warmth, food, shelter, and companionship are not met. Even if they are, the needs are threatened and can be easily jeopardized.

This base is educated, but tends not to be formally educated through a non-trade school. Or, they are not formally educated at all. They are often born into the bottom rabble although it is possible to move into the other areas.

— The middle portion are those who are formally educated but not rich. If the bottom portion is the slaves, the middle is house slaves. They tend to have a higher social status and the base needs of food and shelter may not be constantly threatened — although they still might be during a specific situation.

Historically, this group would primarily consist of the military and politicians. But, given America’s current standard and situation, politicians are bumped to the higher end while the military is regulated towards the bottom ramble. Unless, of course, the soldier has reached a specific and unknown rank that places her or him (or sometimes both at the same time) in the political arena.

— Finally, we have the upper crust. These people do not control the means of production or labor. But, they control. What they tend to produce, if anything, is generally inconsequential. If they did produce at one time, those activities have been surrendered to others.

They, however, have something that the other two levels lack. Security. They do not fear that they will ever lack food, shelter, or companionship. Material comforts that the other levels are denied or have limited use of they have in abundance.

This is the level that the middle aspires to and the lower level is forever denied.

How these three groups interact with each other can vary based on location, time period, and society.
The relationship isn’t always negative and is, occasionally, even supportive. But, there are always three distinct layers that are divided by education, heredity, and material wealth.

These can be observed in society at large as in a nation. They can also be seen on a smaller scale such as a school. Clicks and student activities substitute for careers. For example, football players would typically be at the top followed by the class government in the middle. The chess club would be at the bottom.

—– Which is kind of funny. If the chess club is the most intellectual, it should be at the top. The football team is the most physical so they should represent the plebeians (farmers). But, no. I guess that’s a difference between the adult world and of public education. It’s backward.

These distinctions define more than just societal structure. They define, in part, who the person is, what is acceptable for them, and how they are treated.

These ancient structures have begun to break.

A plebian, for example, can become a Youtube sensation overnight and skyrocket to the upper layer.
PewDiePie and Mr. Beast are good examples. They come from humble origins but have gained a celebrity status that rivals some traditional celebrities. Their status, in some areas of society, trumps the legacy celebrities.

Through the use of social media, someone from the top can be disgraced and may never regain her or his reputation with peers or society in general. I’m thinking of people like Amber Heard, Bill Crosby, Lyndsey Lohan, and Oliver North. To a lesser degree, Bill Clinton. He has fallen from grace but, slowly, had regained some momentum. Fauci is the opposite. He started with authority and has, over the past two years, fallen although he struggles to maintain his elitism.

The middle class, which historically tends to rebel and overthrow the top, is feeling complacent. While they may not have the best of the best, what they have could be considered comparable and just good enough. In some cases, it might even be considered more sensible and, therefore, better than a luxury good. The avoidance of the appearing elite can cause a person to be viewed as elite.

While there will always be some give and take between the strata, the internet and social media have made the instabilities more widely known while increasing promoting the social mobility and decline. Cheapening technology has made it easier for those of the lower tiers to have the same luxuries and expectations as the higher tiers. These ease mechanisms are taken for granted across all tiers. Most, at this point, have never lived without a cell phone and feel that it is their birthright or, at the very least, harbor a very real feeling of loss without them.

Of the three layers, the top has the most to lose and feel threatened. For example, during the 2016 American presidential election, multiple celebrities endorsed Ms. Clinton. They held concerts and rallies to show their support. Plebs and the middle class attended these. But, it wasn’t to show support for Ms. Clinton — as she resoundingly lost — but to be entertained at a generally reduced price. When the celebrities threatened to leave America if Trump won, their threats and pleas were not taken seriously. For good reason as, to my knowledge, not a singly one sacrificed their branding to start over in a different nation. Since their threats and fake promises failed to yield results, their tier and power over Americans are not as total as they would like to believe them to be.

I would imagine that this could also be perceived to be a type of insult. The public doesn’t personally care for them outside of the product that they create – entertainment. When they expressed personal opinions (or paid. Ms. Clinton could have provided monetary compensation on some level), no one cared. That could make them feel devalued.

Fauci started strong during the beginning of the Covid Crisis. People hung on to his every word and edict for fear and uncertainty. Americans were made to feel that we were under attack and looked for a leader. We fell prey to the logical fallacy of Appeal to Authority. Someone who most had never heard of before but was (is?) considered an expert set forth edicts. Out of fear and uncertainty, they were followed with varying degrees of enthusiasm.

Now, Fauci strives to create chaos and foster fear. Fortunately, the masses all but ignore him. President Brandon is another example. He will be a good study on how someone with real power can fall. The crack in the upper tier’s dominance is evident.

To maintain the upper, middle, and pleb tiers, a restructuring is needed. In general, the current populous is spoiled. The middle and plebs do not perceive the upper to be as domineering as it once was. They have and are losing authority. Money is essential. But, without perceived power and prestige, they are feeling threatened.

To achieve this restructuring, the two lower tiers need to be undermined and replaced. The foundations are being cut and a less assuming and more trainable people are being ushered in.

This would be the undermining masculinity and femininity. These are key concepts that have defined global society. They can provide building blocks on how people interact with each other, what to strive for, and how to be part of society. These concepts also represent authority through the traditional roles of mother and father. For a child and certain societal aspects, mother and father roles represent the ‘upper tier’ as it demotes wisdom, intelligence, and experience. The transference of the disregard for politicians and celebrities to the mother and father roles is fairly easy as they share a lot of the same aspects and psychological needs.

The attack is primarily aimed at the middle. While the structure of the family has been severely compromised for the past twenty years, children tended to be raised by people who are entrenched in the gender roles. Moreover, these people have stretched and redefined the traditional roles. They have evolved but still provide personal structure and interaction expectations.

The erasure of gender roles is simply and unfortunately a weakness of the resizing of the roles for the current and next generation.

The second prong of the restructuring is the invasion and political acceptance of illegal immigrants. This attack is primarily aimed at the pleb tier. Unskilled and subservient workers are needed. People who lack general awareness and will blindly accept the prescribed dominance of the upper class are being invited into America by the upper class. Under the guise of goodwill and charity, the upper class is allowing laws to be violated and critical resources to be used.

Lacking education and confidence, illegal immigrants will accept any menial job presented. This replaces the pleb tier. The upper class is doubling down on building a strong lower tier through the use of social programs. Essentially, financial support and health care are being offered to keep the illegal immigrants at the lower tier which would bar any type of accession. Or, at least, make it difficult as it would be a financial and personal risk. The person would also need to take that risk which would possibly destabilize their hierarchy of needs. While upward mobility is always a possibility, the odds would be low and odds of success even lower. It could be several generations before attempts are seriously successful.

By then, the upper tier may have banished the need for the pleb tier completely – maybe through AI and computer automation replacement.

From my perspective, power is key. It is more important than fame and wealth. If power is had, everything else will follow or simply does not matter. I am not so insecure that I would care of what others would think of me.

For the upper tier, power is not the driving force. It is the recognition and obedience to that power. This relies on outside sources and Americans, by heritage, tend to be unruly and a bit fickle. To maintain the perception of power, the lower tiers need to be retrained and replaced. Instead of being objective and secure, they are subjective and weak.

Unfortunately, society is paying and will continue to pay for their infantile flaws.
