Jason actually wanted to see a movie.
Normally, I want to go and he doesn’t. So, we don’t. But he wanted to see this one and I was curious and we did.
I’m glad we did.
There are bloggers and reviews that will point out how controversial, good, had, or honest it is. I’m not here for that.
Rather, I just wanted to provide impressions.
* The whole DEI thing, along with Mr. Walsh, is built on lies. This is illustrated through Walsh. His certification is from a certificate mill. He stole his look from a woke professor from his first movie. His glasses, his hair… it’s all fake.
The only things that were really him was his body beneath his clothes, his heart, and his mind.
And people bought into this without question or critical thought. Once he made a minimal effort, he was accepted as an authority.
* The white rolls.
In one scene, Walsh dressed as a waiter to attend a dinner party populated by white and rich women who felt guilty. At $5000 per plate, they sat around and lamented about how life was unfair to them…. although they could afford a f*ucking $5000 dinner.
Walsh, as a server in a Covid mask, served them these huge fluffy and highly processed white rolls. Cheaply made and full of toxins, their stature, color, and pre-processed harmfulness really stood out to me.
There wasn’t a multi-grain option. There wasn’t any brown bread.
Just rich white women eating huge long-term poisoness white roles.
And they were okay with that.
* Uncle Frank.
A couple of times, Uncle Frank was rolled out. As Jason noted, he was kind of like an art piece or, rather a potentially unknowing target.
Frank was old. He was in a wheelchair and wore a snow white shirt. His hair was the color of Santa’s beard. One eye drooped and I think they are blue.
Frank is, potentially, the stand-in for the failing masculinity of America.
He was ignored at best and verbally abused at worse.
There was not an inkling of kindness. There was no consideration that he was of ‘another generation’ as that is a favorite lib excuse.
Nope.
Uncle Frank is just white trash although the people didn’t know him — at all.
Just…. sad…. and points I don’t think I’ve seen anywhere else. So, that’s my two cents.
There’s actually another potential movie for next week. “Vindicating Trump.” I don’t know if Jason wants to see it, but I’ve watched multiple documentaries about Trump (and Biden for that matter). Some have been favorable. Some have not. But they’ve all been biased in some form.
I like documentaries and am curious about this one. Kind of kicking myself for missing “What is a woman?”
Actually, I’ve even speculated about making it a self-care day. Watching the movie. Getting the nails done. And… just maybe… having lunch.
I won’t. I know I won’t. But, at least, I’m thinking about it. Allowing myself these thoughts is more than what I’ve done before. .
