Don't live the American dream. Live your dream.

1/20

It’s about one in the morning.

Trump will be sworn in, again, in roughly eleven hours. He, apparently, has over 100 executive orders to be signed before lunch which is reputed to undo some of Biden’s bull and radically start an American transformation.

Biden committed harm to America. It’s far reaching and will impact people in unknown ways for generations to come. I have no doubt about that and do and did not support him or Ms. Kamala in any form.

But, under Biden, Americans started to transform into lions. I feel that the majority of us took a side and, because we’re Americans, a lot of us went to extremes. We fought, argued, and harmed each other. Families, partnerships, and friendships dissolved. Sometimes, they were replaced but, mostly, I don’t think they were since (reportedly) mental health declined and obesity continued to increase.

But, still, we were lions. For the most part. Lions with vulture and jackal traits is probably more accurate.

Trump, the presumed savior, is coming in office with his Team Avengers or Disruptors. I guess either catch phrase is used.

And, suddenly, all of these lions have started to become sheep. While there is some mild grumbling, whatever changes he wants to make are vastly supported. Flaws and misgivings from his first term are overlooked as ‘he wasn’t aware of what was needed’ excuse and ‘pandemic’ excuses are given. God has blessed this man twice because he turned his head.

While all of those may be true, it’s disheartening about how quickly everyone is just falling into line. A good example is Blaze Media.

Typically questioning and cynic, all of the talking heads support Trump without question.

It strongly reminds me of how CNN and the other news sources supported Biden until it was no longer fashionable to do so. Once it was accepted the emperor had no clothes, most of them blasted Biden.

The news supported a sheep leader while becoming a target, confusing, and creating disharmony among the lion audience.

Blaze and other sources, I’m sure, feel like they’re copying that playbook. Trump will take care of everything. Order will be restored. Sanity will return. America will be stronger for the change.

There’s no doubt. No “I’ll believe it when I see it.” It’s take it and be happy – just like before under Biden.

And us lions, tired, broke, depressed, and alone, feel like we need a hero. There’s nothing more America would like to do than curl up under the covers and be read stories of how great we are and will be. How the darkness retreated and, with enough time, faith, hope, and pixie dust, if we believe that life will improve, it will.

Trump is the lion.
We’ve become the sheep.

There is suddenly much to be feared.

While I hope I’m wrong, the worship of Elon, reversal of Tik Tok, cryptocurrency, have me doubting.

Even more so is the apparent abandonment of thinking, the willingness to become sheep, and soon to become uninterrupted acceptance of potentially radical and harmful changes under the guise of “It’s better than Biden!” makes me wonder the exact flavor of the Kool-Aid.

Cherry or grape?
Tropical punch?

What happened to the society of lions?
